This is a pathway into becoming a genuine remedial tiling specialist. Learn proper preparation, waterproofing, screeding, epoxy grouting and the old-school Italian craftsmanship passed down through three generations.

You’ll get involved in the whole repair, not just laying tiles, with exposure to demolition, timber repairs, resheeting, substrate preparation and other trades so you understand why a job fails, how to rebuild it properly, and how to take responsibility for the finished result.

We’re looking for a qualified, experienced tiler who is confident on the tools and open to developing into remedial work.

You’ll initially work alongside our Head Tiler, helping move projects along more efficiently while learning our repair systems and standards. As you prove your capability and reliability, you’ll be given more responsibility and eventually assigned projects of your own under our oversight, with earning potential increasing as your contribution to the business grows.

Experience & Technical Skills

• Qualified wall and floor tiler
• Minimum 3+ years practical tiling experience
• Comfortable with demolition and site preparation
• Confident with compliant waterproofing and screeding
• Experienced laying tiles in showers, balconies and outdoor areas
• Good understanding of tile, screed and substrate behaviour
• Experience with epoxy grout, or willing to learn and work with it regularly

What “experienced” means to us

Our projects involve leaking showers, balconies and other wet-area failures, so you’ll work across demolition, preparation, waterproofing, screeding, tiling, epoxy grouting and complete repair systems.

We need someone who makes our Head Tiler more efficient, not someone who requires constant supervision. The goal is to build your knowledge of our systems so you can progressively take more ownership of projects.

Rates

We do recruit developing tilers and assistants from time to time, but we are not currently accepting applications for this pathway.

Future opportunities may suit newly qualified tilers, junior tradespeople or experienced assistants who want broader hands-on experience across complete remedial projects — not just tile installation.
